A compact dimensional calibration model for FDM 3D printers. It is designed to help check X/Y accuracy, circular dimensions, corner consistency, and general print quality using a quick test print.
Recommended settings:
- 0.4 mm nozzle
- 0.20 mm layer height
- PLA
- 15% infill
- Supports disabled
Let the print cool completely before measuring it with digital calipers.
Take several measurements instead of relying on a single reading. If the same dimensional error appears repeatedly, check belt tension, pulley security, extrusion consistency, and the selected printer profile before applying dimensional compensation.
The purpose of this model is to provide a simple and repeatable baseline for checking printer accuracy after slicer or hardware changes.
