Cloud-based Production Scheduling Service
SaaS is a powerful service that provides an API for integrating with your applications and simplifying the management of production processes. Our system offers effective tools for resource optimization, productivity improvement, and cost minimization, all developed in accordance with the concept of c-MES (Collaborative MES). This concept ensures that schedules are synchronized with supply chains and internal material movements, as well as with client order shipments. Let’s consider the main features of our service and how it interacts with your data.
Data you provide to the system:
Product and semi-finished goods nomenclature: The service processes the provided data on product characteristics such as materials, standards, colors, geometry, and other properties.
Nomenclature analogs: The system receives data on available nomenclature analogs, helping you choose the most suitable materials and parts for your production, thus reducing costs and increasing efficiency.
Planned supplies of materials and raw materials: The service provides information on the planned supplies of materials and raw materials from suppliers, allowing you to avoid shortages and maintain a stable production process.
Volume-calendar plans up to the demand boundary and current stock: The system receives and processes data on the current volume-calendar production plans, warehouse stock, and assigned work center plans.
BoM and technological maps: The service processes data on product and semi-finished goods resource specifications as well as data on technological maps.
Material cutting maps: These data are used to form production batches and optimize equipment loading. The system automatically generates 1D cutting maps as part of the schedule calculation. For 2D cutting maps, including curved parts, you can use another of our products.
Equipment data: The system receives data on equipment characteristics such as performance, operational modes, dimensions, capacity, and other parameters, as well as tracking their availability for the planned period.
Fixture availability: The service receives and processes information about the availability and planned addition/removal of necessary fixtures, including modular fixtures.
Personnel data: The system processes data on the availability of personnel by profession, grade, qualification, and category.
Setup times and technological transition data: The service takes into account setup time data when transitioning from one product to another, considering product and equipment properties. This helps reduce setup times and costs. For example, in paint production, the system can reduce the number of equipment washes, and in film production, it can reduce material waste during cutting. These improvements lead to significant savings in resources and time.
What happens inside the system:
Calculation of feasible production schedules with specified optimization criteria: Based on the received data, the C-MES:SaaS system calculates all possible production schedules that meet the specified optimization criteria.
What you receive in the end:
The user receives all feasible calculated production schedules, which contain ready-to-execute tasks for work centers (including setup tasks) and plans for the consumption of materials, labor resources, and fixtures. All data exchange occurs through secure HTTPS requests using the JSON format. In addition to the fact that all your data is transmitted in an encrypted form, you only transmit 32-character unique object identifiers; object names are not transmitted to the system.
C-MES:SaaS provides the tools necessary for the automation and optimization of your production processes. Since the calculations of all schedule variations can consume significant computational resources, please contact us before deciding on your subscription plan.
